Animal in Nature

Poult and I love to laugh and laugh at our kiddies. They most definitely tickle our funny bone. They're animals, truly animals. They eat, sleep and play just like our wild mammal friends. It's good their innate animal nature is documented: our ladybug, our kitty and our frog.

Oh to be a kid again........absolutely no worries!

Or wait........are there worries???????
Gotta watch out for them Ladybugs!

MEOW!! We're O.K.

Cali's 1st Sledding Day

Do I like sledding or what???

I'm getting more and more daring as I get older. All by myself...and on my tummy!

Are you able to catch sight of me?? I'm as fast as the speed of light.....

Ah! The joys of sledding!!

Christmas Grand Finale

Today is the last day that I am allowing myself to blog back in time. So here's the grand finale to our happy, forever-to-be-remembered (Cali's 1st) Christmas of 2008!!

And here's capturing our own January Christmas. If done just right.....Santa will pay a private, delayed visit to the VERY good girls and boys. Yahoo, the Wii and the kitchen! We got to keep up with the Jones'....gotta have the Wii (And loving it)!

What do you want?? I can whip you up a delicious PB omlette, or do you want rice and beans??

Look at me. I'm ready to walk. And when I do, I'll be as quick as these race cars!!

Cali's 1st Christmas will forever be remembered!!

It's ruff being so cute!!

The new outfits of my girls' says it all:
"It's ruff being so cute!!"
Dang Ruff!!

Enough said.....

Christmas Day at Nanny & Papa's

It's Pajama Time!! Ohhhhh yes......It's Pajama Time!!
And Christmas Eve is our favorite because we all get matching pajamas!!
We especially love our time spent with Jolly Old Saint Willie!! (And I think I forgot to record this but our little Cali Lilybet began crawling the end of November when she was 4 months old!) She's one determined little girl.

Christmas Eve at Grandma & Grandpa's

Well, we had thought that maybe this would be the 1st Christmas that we would start to develop our very own Christmas traditions and wake up Christmas morning in our own home. But the weather chose otherwise. We are so happy though that we were able to go and be with our beloved family. We were able to create such fun memories. We love and adore all our cousins.
Here we come a-caroling amist the leaves so green............

1st Grab at Finger Food

OK so I ain't as dedicated and committed at keeping this blog as updated as I had envisioned. Again, bear with me, I'm just as the web address claims: 2 centuries late but I won't claim that as an excuse, I'm still trying here. Small and simply, amist the storms of life, I'm still committed to this blog!! It's such a great way to record all the small and simple things in life. For it is truly by small and simple things that great things are brought to pass. I've got quite a few postings from the holidays. I'd like to begin though with an event that took place 2 days before Christmas: With her own very, tiny fingers, Cali picked up her very own cheerios (check out that concentration!):

And then, yes, of course!! Gotta have a thumb break. Afterall, it is that thumb that is serving as the vehicle that is getting that cherrio there in the mouth.

Ahhhh! The joys of food.
